WOO HOO.... Told 2 1/2 weeks ago our slab would be finished by tomorrow!!!

They may start tomorrow if today went well for them....

It is sunny all week so may be we can have a slab by the 5th week as they did say USUALLY 4 weeks....

Settled on the engineer drawings from May now as they say I will be charged $200 per drawing change even though they couldn't get it right in the first place. I will just have to work with what we have..

Oh well.. Maybe next house..

3rd Engineers Drawing

Got 3rd Engineers Drawing e-mail to us today.
Amendment date on drawing was 17/8/09.. After numerous calls to Distinctive they finaly sent me a copy on e-mail for approval.

Totally wrong again.. infact the worst ever!!!

Did a red pen on what needs to be done.. hopefully they understand this time...

I am getting so sick of this... aaarrrgggghhhhhhh

Council Approval

Recieved our Council Approval papers the other day.. Although these are from the wrong footing drawings so we will have to wait for an amendment to go through... Oh hurry up.. Oh hurry up.....

Woo Hoo.. Had someone who knows something about kitchens from Supreme's ring today and go over the layout with me.. As I work in the industry it was good to be able to explain it to someone who knew what I was talking about.. Even scored the fridge panels and overheads for no charge!!!!

Also had a call from Distinctive today and was told they are just waiting on the revised engineers drawings and then depending on the weather they can start the slab straight away!!!

Fingers crossed!!!! Bring on the sunshine!!!
